Balloonz is a family run national balloon wholesaler and distributor based in Southampton.
The company is committed to supporting a number of charitable causes including Excellent Development. Balloonz Managing Director, Johnathan De’Wey promotes the message that “The whole world loves ballons, so we at Balloonz want to show we love the whole world”. Excellent Development's TreeDuty scheme therefore offered the perfect way for Balloonz to support a great cause and show their environmental commitment at the same time. We helped Balloonz to calculate the annual carbon emissions for all of their delivery vehicles and the number of trees they would need to plant in the TreeDuty scheme to compensate for these emissions. Balloonz’s support for TreeDuty enabled the company to show it is being environmentally responsible - with TreeDuty van stickers provided to advertise their committment on their vehicles.
TreeDuty appealed to Balloonz because it not only makes an important contribution to the environment, but also because it helps to provide wider social and economic benefits to the communities in Africa who are living on the front line of climate change.
