Quest August 2005The second WaterRelief team included nine volunteers from the Isle of Man, of whom three were sponsored by the Isle of Man Governor's Golden Jubliee Trust. The group helped at the Utooni Development Project, which is the longest-running project and the originator of all our work. The dams in this area are up to 30 years old, so it was high time for some improvement work. The team got stuck in and extended two dams in Mikono Valley and another one in Makanga. They also taught in Mikono Primary School.
