Excellent Development has received invaluable support from Innocent Drinks and the company’s charitable arm, the Innocent Foundation.

Corporate Foundation Support

Innocent Drinks gives 10% of its profits away to charity via the Innocent Foundation. Excellent Development received a 3 year grant which enabled us to support the Meka Community Self Help Group to create secure water and food supplies.

Graham Burgess from the innocent team took the opportunity to visit the project the Foundation was supporting while he was on holiday in East Africa.

“My experience in Kola will stay with me for a long time. It was amazing to see how much had been achieved and that it’s possible to create genuine and long lasting change. I felt lucky to have met such a passionate team of people committed to improving the lives of their fellow Kenyans.”

On-Product Marketing

Featured on the back of Innocent’s 1 litre smoothie cartons was an excellent opportunity to show off Innocent’s support for communities in Africa.

Skilled Volunteer Support

In February 2009 Innocent Drinks provided Excellent Development in Kenya with much needed help from their IT expert, John Thompson. John went out to Kenya for 2 weeks to help set up an IT network and provide some IT training to our staff.

“JT 's work in Kenya was part of our innocent foundation scholarship scheme which gives innocent employees the chance to visit a project that the foundation supports, and whilst they are out there develop and test out their skills in a completely different work environment away from all their normal support networks. As well as delivering a real business benefit to Excellent Development, JT found the experience really valuable in terms of his personal development.”

John Durham, Head of IT at Innocent Drinks
