We have teamed up with adventure travel specialist, Quest Overseas, to offer gap year students the opportunity to get hands on experience of sustainable development projects.
You'll spend four weeks volunteering with the amazing Kamba communities of southern Kenya. Work alongside whole communities from 20 to 100 people helping to construct sand dams that will provide clean water for years to come.
At the end of the four weeks you’ll get to enjoy a well deserved break on safari through one of Kenya's stunning national parks.
The summer projects are aimed at 17-24 year olds and the next expedition will be leaving in early July 2011.
“The work was very strenuous but also extremely satisfying and on our first full day we mixed 150 bags of cement (an Excellent Development record!) I have never done a job which is so rewarding.”
