Excellent and the Environment

Being a Planet Positive charity fits with Excellent’s philosophy and values. As an environmental charity, Excellent takes its passion for the environment into all aspects of its work. Working with our partners Planet Positive, we have become the first charity to achieve Planet Positive Certification, by offsetting the carbon dioxide emissions from our business activity including airtravel, plus an extra 10%.
In the UK office, we continuously work to reduce our carbon footprint by implementing efficient and effective environmental management practices.
For example
  • we use a recycling firm to recycle our office waste including: paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, glass and cans
  • we source 100% recycled paper and envelopes
  • we print double-sided as default and wherever possible strive to digitise information and communications.
