Creating your own sponsored event

Sponsored events are a great way to raise money for us, and set yourself a challenge at the same time. We can help you make it happen by:

• providing sponsorship forms and leaflets about Excellent Development
• publicising your event on our website
• help you write a press release and get media coverage
• help you set up your own Just Giving website where people can sponsor you. Click here to get started

You may already have an idea for a sponsored event, but if not, here are some to get you thinking:

• Take part in the London Marathon / Great North Run / 5k Run for us
• Walk / swim / cycle - and why not use the distances communities in south east Kenya have to walk to find water as a target for your challenge?
• Do a parachute / bungee jump
• Double Up - raise money for Excellent Development and benefit your community by doing a sponsored litter pick / grafitti clean / gardening challenge
• Use your talents - skateboarding / juggling / crosswords / singing / knitting / darts / cooking, to set yourself the ultimate endurance challenge
