Excellent Development Isle of Man

Excellent Development Isle of Man (ED IOM) is a company registered in the Isle of Man at:

1 Windsor Road, Douglas, Isle of Man IM1 3JX

ED IOM is a subsidiary of Excellent Development Ltd (ED UK Ltd), as ED UK Ltd is its sole member, and it is a company limited by guarantee (company number 128231C, charity registration number 1147).

ED UK Ltd has long-term links with the IOM (our founder and former Executive Director, Simon Maddrell, was born in Douglas), with three ED IOM trustees who live on the Isle of Man - Ian Hemensley, John Maddrell and Simon Scott, all of which provide administrative support to the organisation.

ED UK Ltd is also fortunate to have the patronage of His Excellency Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney for ED IOM.

ED IOM undertake substantial fundraising activities on the Isle of Man; as well as having received generous donations from the Isle of Man International Development Committee, we fundraise from our individual Manx donors and every year we fundraise through stalls at the Tynwald Fair and the One World Centre. We also fundraise through the One World Charity Challenge (winning the challenge in both 2016 and 2017), and have previously been chosen as St James Dalby Church’s Charity of the Year. We have also received the kind support of some of the Island’s Rotary Clubs, and held donor events on the Island.
